Sid & Rosey Bring Home the Blue...and then some!
posted on Aug 01, 2009We couldn't be more proud of our beautiful Brabant mare, Rosey Grey and our young Gypsy Vanner stallion, Rosewater Cassidy (Sid) after their huge success at the first horse show they attended for the 2009 season on July 18, 2009.
Sid won 1st place in Color Breeds Halter and 1st place in Draft Halter, going on to win RESERVE CHAMPION HALTER for the day! This was only his 3rd time ever in the show ring!
As always, Rosey and Olivia did excellent in the bareback class (no saddle, no bridle/bit), winning 2nd place out of 13 entries! The two were extremely proud when they placed 1st in the All Day Pleasure Jackpot (walk, trot) class against tough competition of 12 entries.
Great ambassadors for the their breeds, Both Sid and Rosey were the only "draft" horses at the show and were definite crowd favorites. The two won more ribbons than we can count and received many praises and pats for their great performances, way to go!
