Chestnut Oak Farm is proudly offering one of the best moving Gypsy stallions in the USA for the 2011 breeding season! The fabulous Gypsy Vanner/Cob stallion, Rosewater Cassidy, nicknamed “Sid”. This boy has outstanding bloodlines and is a superb example of his breed. His sire is the awesome moving Gypsy Vanner stallion BSG Taliesin, and grandsire is legendary Gypsy stallion, The Bishop, who resides in Germany. Sid’s dam is the beautiful Gypsy Cob mare, Clononeen Sinead, owned by Rosewater Gypsy Farm in Wisconsin. Both his sire and dam were imported.

Sid has excellent conformation, a solid thick neck, short back, and a great amount of bone! His flashy markings and 50/50 black & white color, striped mane, and crazy amounts of silky hair and feather are a few of this beautiful boy’s best qualities. In the winter months, Sid sports a full beard and long curly mustache! His quiet, easy-going nature only adds to his incredible presence. Perhaps even better is his huge extended stride and awesome knee action! When it comes to movement, Sid is extremely athletic and carries himself with grace and style. He moves with great agility and elegance!

Sid's first foal crop hit the ground in 2010 and they are amazing! A flashy black & white Drum Horse filly named "Chestnut Oak's Flash of Pearl", and a gorgeous black blagdon sabino Drum Horse colt named "Chestnut Oak's Royal David".  Both foals are of impeccable quality and have the WOW factor like their sire!  We are expecting three foals by Sid in spring 2011. He's a proven stallion and settles his mares with the first breeding!
